We Believe Every Story Deserves to Be Heard
Some stories are born in big cities, with budgets to match. Most are not. They come from smaller places—a village on the edge of a forest, a craft town no one outside the district has heard of, or a grandmother's memory of a partition no history book quite captured. Eastern Eagle Production (EEP) was built for those stories.
We are an emerging Indian production house, and from the beginning, our focus has been clear: find the stories that matter, give them the resources they need, and get them in front of audiences who are ready for something real.
What sets us apart is not just what we produce—it is how we work. Our leadership combines genuine creative instinct with the kind of operational clarity that actually gets films made and distributed. We are not a conveyor belt. Every project that comes through EEP receives focused attention, honest feedback, and a long-term commitment. We will tell you what is working in your script and what is not. We will push back when something needs to be stronger. And we will stay with your project until it finds its audience.
There is a reason so many independent filmmakers keep coming back to us. They know that here, their story will not be reshaped to fit a formula. It will be presented — faithfully, beautifully, and globally — exactly as it was always meant to be.
Mission
India is home to thousands of stories that never make it past a regional boundary. Not because they lack merit, but because the infrastructure to carry them further simply has not existed. That is the gap EEP was created to fill.
Our mission is straightforward: find grounded, honest stories from across India — from Odisha's coastal plains to the highlands of Meghalaya, from Varanasi's textile alleys to the folk traditions of Bundelkhand — and build them into films that the world can watch, feel, and remember.
We handle everything: script development, production, and distribution through OTT platforms, film festivals, and digital channels. Through all of it, one rule holds firm—the story keeps its original voice. Its language. Its cultural truth. We do not sand down the edges to make something more palatable. We trust the audience.
Vision
We want to live in a world where a first-time filmmaker from a small town in Jharkhand can log on to a global streaming platform and find their film right there—next to titles from Tokyo, London, and New York.
Eastern Eagle Production's long-term goal is to become India's most reliable home for authentic regional cinema. Not the flashiest. Not necessarily the biggest. But the one that independent f ilmmakers trust when it matters most—because we have proven, again and again, that we protect their creative integrity while delivering real-world results.
The center of Indian storytelling has been urban for too long. The raw, the regional, the unfiltered— that is where the next great wave of Indian cinema is going to come from. We intend to be right at the front of it.
What We Do
End-to-end support, from the page to the platform.
Independent Films
This is where our heart is. Independent cinema requires a particular kind of patience and a genuine belief in stories that do not follow the usual template. We bring both.
View DetailsFeature Films
Long-format storytelling is demanding. Getting it right takes more than technical skill — it takes a clear understanding of narrative structure, pacing, audience expectation, and distribution realities.
View DetailsShort Films
Short films punch well above their runtime. A well-crafted short can win a festival, open industry doors, and reach audiences in ways that longer formats simply cannot.
View DetailsScript to Screen Process
Many strong ideas never become films because the path from script to screen is poorly mapped. We f ix that.
View DetailsWhat We Produce
Grounded films for global audiences—rooted in India's regional soul, built for festivals and streaming platforms worldwide.
Regional Narratives, Told Honestly
Films that carry the actual texture of Indian life—the language, the landscape, the rhythm. No simplification. No stereotypes. Just the truth on screen.
Independent Feature Films
Long-form stories with the emotional weight and cultural depth that stay with an audience long after the credits roll.
Short Films with Purpose
Compact and powerful. Designed for festival runs, digital premieres, and campaigns where impact matters more than runtime.
Documentaries That Change Something
Real people, real situations, real stakes. We produce documentaries with integrity and distribute them through partnerships that give them genuine reach.
Our Customer Feedback
Our Process
Respectfully, transparently, beautifully. A four-step journey that keeps your
creative voice intact while opening doors to international distribution.
Discover
Every submission gets read. If your story has the qualities we look for—honesty, regional grounding, and a point of view that feels genuinely human—we reach out and start a conversation. There is no committee jargon here. Just an open, direct discussion about your work and what it could become.
Develop
This is where the real collaboration begins. We work closely with you on the script — identifying what landing is, what needs strengthening, and where the emotional core can be sharpened. We ask hard questions, but we never try to change what makes your story yours. Development at EEP is about making your original vision clearer and stronger, not replacing it with something more convenient.
Produce
From casting and crew to locations and post-production, we handle the operational weight of making your film. That means you get to stay focused on what you came here to do — direct, write, and create — while we make sure everything around you is running the way it should.
Distribute
Getting a film made is one challenge. Getting it seen is another. EEP has direct pipelines to OTT aggregators and global streaming platforms — including Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, JioCinema, and MUBI — as well as established relationships with international film festivals. When your film is ready, we make sure it lands where it belongs.

The People Behind the Work
Eastern Eagle Production is led by a close-knit team with a shared conviction: that India's most powerful stories are still waiting to be discovered and that the right production house can make all the difference between a story that fades and one that travels.
Our leadership brings together creative depth and strategic discipline — a combination that is harder to find than it sounds. Through active collaborations with the National Film Development Corporation of India (NFDC) and key OTT platforms, we have built the kind of industry relationships that translate directly into opportunities for the filmmakers we work with.
Every project at EEP is personal. That is not a marketing line — it is just how we work.
